Rustic reclaimed-wood shelving and various sizes mason jars create a beautiful and functional pantry. I suggest one-piece lids and wide-mouth jars for ease-of-use, convenience, and consistency.
As levels deplete, transfer goods to the next smallest jar size. When you’re down to the smallest size add items to your grocery list. Label lids for identification and to serve as a reminder to fill up anything empty. When cooking or baking, lids can get mixed up, so also label jars to avoid mix-ups. Adding a date to your label or the bottom of the jar can be handy to ensure freshness.
